Allison McCreath, PT BScPT Pelvic Health Physiotherapist
After graduating from the University of Alberta with a BSc in Physical Therapy in 2004, Allison had the incredible experience of living in the greater Montreal area for 20 years. It was here that her passion for promoting women’s pelvic health flourished. In addition to her participation in regular courses and conferences she has also received a diploma in Pelvic Health and Rehabilitation from the Université de Montréal.
As a supportive educator and coach, she is devoted to a whole person approach in a safe, inclusive and empathetic environment. Demystifying common pelvic health concerns, offering comprehensive treatment and empowering women of all ages are at the forefront of her interventions.
Allison also has a special interest in treating altered infant head shape and torticollis. Having taken numerous continuing education and university level courses, she offers a comprehensive approach to treatment. It is much more than an aesthetic issue and can have important consequences on motor development if left untreated. She enjoys offering community presentations to bring awareness to this condition as early intervention facilitates successful treatment. In addition to her passion for clinical practice, Allison absolutely loves new adventures, experiencing different cultures, being active outdoors and travelling with her husband and 3 children. She is overjoyed to now be back in her home province of Alberta!
