Originally from Stony Plain, Allison graduated from the University of Alberta with a BSc in Physical Therapy with Distinction in 2004.
Approach to Care
Pelvic Health
As a supportive educator and coach, she is devoted to whole person care in a safe, inclusive and empathetic environment. Offering a range of treatment options and empowering women of all ages are at the forefront of her interventions.
Offers family-centered treatment and comprehensive care plans for infant head shape and torticollis. These concerns are often more than an aesthetic issue and can have important consequences on motor development if left untreated.
Education & Credentials
Following graduation, she had the incredible experience of living in the greater Montreal area for 20 years. It was there that her passion for promoting women’s pelvic health and pediatrics flourished.
In addition various national and international courses/conferences she also attained a second cycle diploma in Perineal and Pelvic Rehabilitation from the Université de Montréal (the only program of its kind in Canada).
Community Involvement
Regularly offers community presentations in a variety of locations for:
Pediatrics: Bringing awareness re: early intervention and successful outcomes
Pelvic Health: Demystifying and normalizing discussions re: common pelvic health concerns
In addition to her passion for clinical practice, Allison absolutely loves new adventures, experiencing different cultures, being active outdoors and travelling with her husband and 3 children.
