Born and raised in Spruce Grove, Zak completed his Master of Science in Physical Therapy in 2021 after earning a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology in 2018.
Approach to Care
Zak takes an active, evidence-informed approach to physiotherapy that blends orthopaedic rehabilitation with principles of strength and conditioning. Care is individualized and focused on restoring movement, building capacity, and helping each patient return confidently to the activities that matter to them. Treatment incorporates education, progressive exercise, manual therapy techniques, and objective measures of strength and function to guide rehabilitation.

Experience in Sport
A former University of Alberta Golden Bears football player and competitive powerlifter, Zak brings a strong background in competitive sport, strength training, and athletic performance to his clinical practice. He has worked with athletes from a variety of sports and competition levels. This experience allows him to navigate along the continuum of rehabilitation to performance.
